LoungeAgent is operated by LoungeAgent LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“LoungeAgent”, “we”). This explains what LoungeAgent collects, why, and who sees it. The short version: we collect what we need to run your membership and bookings, we don't sell it, and lounges never get your phone number or email.
What we collect
- From your home lounge, when it adds you: your name, mobile number and membership tier. If it sends us its member list as a file, we take only those three things from it and delete the file once the list is imported.
- When you sign in: your phone number and when you signed in. Our sign-in provider keeps a login record for you. When you ask for a sign-in code we also note your internet (IP) address, and again when you enter a code, to limit how many codes can be requested and tried; those notes are deleted after about a day.
- When you book: the lounge, the date, the number of people, the amount paid, when you booked, and the name and email you enter at checkout. Your card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. We also note each checkout you start, to limit how many can be started; those notes are deleted after about a day.
- Reviews: the one you write after a visit, and the one the lounge writes about your visit. Both are private to LoungeAgent: the lounge never sees yours, and you never see theirs.
- Access records: if a lounge or LoungeAgent keeps a number from booking, or removes it from the network, we keep that record and the reason. It stays private to LoungeAgent.
- Lounge staff who use LoungeAgent: name, mobile number, email, and the lounge they manage. For the lounge itself, also where its weekly payout is sent by Zelle (an email or phone number), which only LoungeAgent sees.
- Cookies: only the ones needed to keep you signed in (and, for lounge staff, to remember which lounge is open). No advertising or analytics cookies, and no tracking across other sites.
- Map: the lounge directory's map loads its map images from OpenStreetMap, which, like any site your browser loads images from, sees your internet address. We don't send it anything about you.
How we use it
- To sign you in and confirm you are an active member of the network.
- To take payment, email you your pass, tell the lounge you're visiting who to expect (and both of you if a booking is cancelled), and pay lounges for visits.
- To help with problems, cancellations and refunds.
- To keep the network in good standing, using reviews and to prevent fraud.
- To apply the network's access rules, such as how often you can visit a lounge and which clubs' members it hosts.
We don't send marketing texts, and we don't sell or rent personal information.
Who sees it
- The lounge you visit: your name, your home lounge (each of them, if you belong to more than one), the date, the number of people and your confirmation code, and if the booking is cancelled. Not your phone number or email, nor the name you enter at checkout.
- Your home lounge: the membership details it gave us, and a count of how many network visits its members have made.
- LoungeAgent, to run the network and help you.
- Service providers that run parts of LoungeAgent for us, only for that purpose: Supabase (database and sign-in), Twilio (sign-in texts), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting) and Anthropic (an AI service that reads the member lists lounges send us).
- Others only when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or rights.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while you are a member. If your home lounge removes you, your account is switched off, not deleted: we keep your name, number and visit history so past bookings, payments and payouts still add up, and so access records keep working. We keep booking and payment records as long as we need them for accounting, tax and resolving disputes, including after you leave the network. Ask us (below) and we'll delete what we don't have to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Contact us (below) and we'll help. Your name and tier come from your home lounge, so it can also update them. We may keep records we're required to keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
Age
LoungeAgent is for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Security
Access to member information is limited to the people and services that need it to run LoungeAgent. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you trust us with.
Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top changes.
